Merry and Bright! Our Christmas Cards 2015

It's that time of year again! In addition to all the trees, gifts and peppermint mochas, it's Christmas card season! I don't know about you, but cards tend to stress me out a bit. Getting a family picture that has everyone even looking at the camera is a big deal, much less finding something to wear on my post-baby bod.

Despite the stress of my own cards, I'm a big fan of Christmas cards in general and absolutely love getting them in the mail. I usually put them on some type of display and last year's was my favorite so far. I should have taken another picture closer to Christmas, because my little tree made of twine and washi tape got really full!
This year, we took our family picture with the self timer on our front porch. It was the easiest family picture we've ever taken. Everything went so insanely smooth that I thought I was going to be Punk'd. Everyone smiled for the camera, the Hubs and I agreed on everything for the cards and 2 days after the picture was taken, this was on my doorstep.

The hardest decision was deciding which card I was going to choose, since I had put so many in my Tiny Prints favorites folder! These were my top contenders, but at the end of the day, I had to go with the buffalo plaid back
Outside of the hospital, this is our first legit family of 5 picture and I love how it turned out.

Since I knew there was no chance I'd get out both birth announcements and Christmas cards, we decided on a joint venture. I chose from one of the many different layout options on the back, to make room for a picture of all the boys as well as a couple newborn of Lincoln. The baseball has his name, birth date and stats on it, so it worked perfectly as an announcement to mix in with the Christmas card.
I love how our Tiny Prints cards turned out and how great they were to order from. Getting the cards done early helped with the sometimes stressful card ordering process, but Tiny Prints made it so very easy, too. It was an easy process to compare my favorites, customize and order the cards. I did order with expedited shipping, but my word. 2 days from ordering? For custom cards? I'm impressed. I can't wait for our friends and family to get these beauties this Christmas!
