The black package, tied up in pink ribbon and calling me gorgeous, is welcome at my doorstep anytime.

I was sent this package containing some of Mary Kay's bestsellers as well as some of their newest products.

The first thing I grabbed was the NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss. I'm good about chapstick before bed, but I often skip lip color during the day. I feel like most of them make my lips look dry (a problem I don't need enhanced!) or make them feel sticky. These lip glosses caused neither of those problems! Since they contain antioxidants and botanical extracts, they're actually conditioning my lips.

Available in 14 shades, this light lip gloss is surprisingly long lasting. My current favorite shade is Mango Tango. A little va-va-voom, but not too much for a trip to the grocery store.

Mary Kay must have remembered my need for step-by-step eye make-up. This Compact Mini makes it easy for me to get the colors right. It also holds a Mineral Cheek Color securely in its magnetic tray. I use blush more in the wintertime when I'm sans tan, and I think this Shy Blush color is a great shade.
I also love the jewel-toned Mineral Eye Colors they sent. Perfect for dressing up for the upcoming holiday parties! In the Compact Mini, the shades are Golden Vanilla, Truffle and Lavender Fog. In the background are Midnight Star, Sweet Plum and Black Pearl.

I'm a mascara over-user. I always put on 2 coats, and they're usually different types. When I used Mary Kay's Lash Primer, I was so pleased with the results. It was like 2 coats of mascara but without all the clumping that often comes with a second coat. The primer also strengthens and helps condition lashes. Score!
I tried the Lash Love Mascara in black and also in waterproof black. With Vitamin E and a flexible sculpting brush, your lashes will feel the love.
I also used the Ultimate Mascara in black, which I already had and am a big fan of. It's one of my daily go-tos.

This Timewise Repair Volu-Firm Eye Renewal Cream targets deep lines, wrinkles and sagging skin. I don't have wrinkles yet, but it has helped my dark 'I haven't slept because I'm a Mom' circles. It increases moisture for 12 hours--something I need and can feel.
And last, but furthest from the least, is the TimeWise Microdermabrasion Set. This is instant love, people. Instant results.
Step 1: Refine uses the key exfoliating ingredient used by dermatologists. You massage it into your wet face and it kinda feels like sandpaper. Bear with me. After 1 to 2 minutes, you wash it off and apply
Step 2: Replenish. A serum containing vitamins, antioxidants and anti-irritants, it nourishes the soft, smooth skin revealed by Step 1. I saw results using this set. My face was so soft and the products took care of my dry, flaky problem areas. Treat yourself. You won't regret it!

Wearing: NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss in Mango Tango, Mineral Cheek Color in Shy Blush, Mineral Eye Color in Golden Vanilla and Truffle, Lash Primer and Ultimate Mascara in Black.

Best beauty tip I know is emphasize your eyes OR you lips, not both. It will keep you from looking over made-up. Also easy on the blush - just a whisper to give a youthful glow.
