I have lovingly given my body over to be ruined twice to carry my sweet boys. If that wasn't enough, I allowed the damage to go even further when I acted as milk cow for them both and often succumbed to brutal, biting torture. Anyone else who has done this knows one thing for sure:
You will forever need a magical hold everything back up where it used to be bra.
Enter Vanity Fair® and their new Modern Coverage Collection Bras.
I've often thought of Vanity Fair® as the bras my mom (or grandma, for that matter) wore. Even though I'm a mom myself, I at least try to wear lingerie to keep a spark going. (Forget the fact that I've worn nursing bras for the past 10 months.)
These bras really surprised me. The new Modern Coverage line has all the same benefits, support and comfort features that have made Vanity Fair great, but with less cup coverage. All right, now we're talking.
I was sent three different bras from the Modern Coverage line.
The Look Lifted Underwire bra definitely gets the girls up. But not cleavage to my chin. No, it's a good everyday lift. It has padded cups and a little lace and rhinestone detail right in the center.
The Advanced Support Underwire bra has an invisible support-system built into the padded cups. It lifts well and, after a little dancing around, everything was still in place. Success.
Lastly, the Front Close Underwire bra. I love the front-close feature. I am nursing just a couple times a day, but it's not enough to wear a nursing bra. This bra is the perfect solution! It has innovative back wing fabric that provides great support. I really like the smooth back, too. Looks so much better under thin fabrics!
Next up: Undies. I'm going to be honest here. This is WAY MORE fabric than I normally wear. When I opened the package, I thought, well, crap. What am I going to say about these!?
But then I tried them on and oohhh, I like.
The Bikini fits so perfect. It is actually a low rise, like you can see in the tag picture. It has satin trim at the waistband and leg openings so it's super comfy.
The Hipster really fits like a boy short. There are no visible panty lines with these, which is my main reason for not usually wearing full undies. I do like to wear the boy shorts under dresses, in case of a Marilyn Monroe moment and because the hubs likes them. With these not having VPL, I will wear them much more, though.
The Hi-Cut has the same satin trim the others have and the same silky, comfortable fabric. Just too big for me. To each their own undie style.
