Someone in my family protested sleep last night (and the 2 before that) thanks to tooth #7. Oh and then, just when I thought I could get in a little shut eye, he decided not to nap at all. So now that he's asleep in the car post grocery store run, he's staying. But don't call CPS yet. I've got a Christmas blanket and the drivers seat on full recline.
We're in NY and it's chilly and rainy! The hubs met up with his guys here and they took off for a weekend of what he's referring to as camping. My camping definition doesn't really include golf, a big log cabin and steak dinners, but whatever you say, hubs.
We're going to go apple picking and watch lots of redbox movies with the grandparents while the hubs is gone, then enjoy watching a Jet game with other Jet fans when he's back!
Happy Friday, y'all!
I totally forgot to post all our "lets get everyone wearing the same thing out on the beach to try and smile at the same time" pictures! I'm sure y'all are just all bent out of shape over it, too. I mean, its not like I haven't already posted 7million pics of the vacation I still wish I was on. Moving right along...
My whole side of the fam!
This is 4 generations of girls on my mom's side.
My little part of the family complete with some of the most wind blown beach hair I've ever seen. I mean. What are all those pins about trying to get beach hair? Do we really want it to look like this?!
The sister's family. Complete with bump #4!
Oh, the rents. Love them so.
And with all the grand babies. #6 is also a boy. Not sure how a family with so many girls are popping out boy after boy.
This is the original crew. There may be a 10 year gap between the first 3 and the last 2, but we're a close bunch.
My.Poor.Dad. He survived 4 daughters. Even though 3 of us shared a bathroom. Probably could get him some kind of sainthood. Oh and that sassy little one? Is turning out to be more of a handful than all of us combined! Good thing he is Papa this time around.
I stole lots of jewels for this. Teehee.

Things I learned from this post:
I shop at Target way more than one should. Guess that's what happens when you live 5 minutes away.
I need to clean my mirror.
The planner in me is so antsy to get Halloween costumes prepared for this year. The past couple years have been so fun getting Cooper all dressed up.
2009, he rocked the penguin. Tiny heartbreaker.
In 2010, Cooper had 2 costumes.
He was a lion,
And a chicken.
There was also a monkey costume bought that year, but saved for 2011.
And that was when he was Stewie from Family Guy when we were all dressed up for our neighborhood Halloween party. Then he was the monkey for our church trunk or treat. Followed by my fave, the Angry Bird for actual Halloween night.
Making 2011 our biggest year, at 3 costumes. What in the world.
This year, I said we are deciding on 1 costume for the boys and they need to coordinate. I had something like this in mind...
But guess what? 4 year olds don't want to be flying houses or boy scouts. They want to be this:
Or this:Meaning to coordinate with little bro, he would have to be something like this:
But the biggest problem, is that he can't decide what
brightly colored, plastic masked, every other kid in the neighborhood will be wearing costume he wants to wear. Or maybe I want to be Mario, Mom! Or what about Dracula?!
I have successfully passed along my indecisiveness to him.
I just know when we go shopping, he will want 1,587 different costumes.
And I will want him to wear anything but his choices.
But you know? I'm happy to see him so excited to be a plastic Avenger. Just like I was so happy to see his big grin at his first pair of light up shoes.
Oh the things I said I'd never do.
First of all, is 4 still considered a toddler? And what would I call him next? Just a kid? Because that totally breaks my heart. Almost as much as him asking if I can take his pictures outside. This one's got it going on.
Just say yes to anything with a guitar printed on it.
Cooper begged for these shoes during a recent Target trip. He's got style and he's not afraid to show it off.
Shorts: Target, Top: Carters, Shoes: Target, Baby Blues: c/o Me. Thankyouverymuch
The main reason I miss living in the deep south? These people.
We celebrated this little gal's 3rd Birthday while we were there. She may be Casey's daughter, but I really think she has a lot of me in her. Shopping, dress up and serious 'tude is how she rolls.
Getting their buckets ready for some nighttime crab catching!
Yes, he's related to me, too. Boy raised in southern Georgia for ya.
Callan slept on everyone, I think. But my little sis, Shelby, was caught soaking up some back porch snuggles with him.
Boiled peanuts for breakfast? Don't mind if I do.
Oh, and lets follow that up with fried okra for dinner. Put some south in your mouth.
Another sis, who didn't get to spend quite as much time with us. She had to work, or some crap like that.
Shenanigans. Complete shenanigans.
I've decided that if God went on vacation, he would probably go to the gorgeous, white sandy beaches along Hwy 30-A. Growing up on the gulf, I took being able to go to the beach anytime we wanted to for granted. Now, I miss that and I want to move every time we go back.
Here is part 1 of probably more pictures than you care to see of our beach vacay.
This was Callan's first time in at the beach!
Uncle Josh is the boys favorite toy.
Big kids snuck in a little sans kiddos beach time.
Not sure if Marmie or Callan was loving this more.
