Stilettos and Diapers: Cooperisms

Cooperisms

We haven't been doing anything around here. Like seriously, nothing.
I have no recipes to share, haven't gotten dressed to go anywhere and I certainly haven't been crafty. Therefore, serious lack of blog post.

Anyhoo, Cooper hasn't shown a shortage of the funnies. That kid cracks me up.

On opening the pantry to find an empty box of Phineas and Ferb fruit snacks, "What the heck, Mom, no more fruit snacks?!"

In the wine section of Wegmans (the greatest grocery store in all of life) Cooper announced "this is Mommy juice and Daddy likes beeeer. Freakin crap, I want some beeeer!" (I understand this is highly inappropriate, but seriously, funny. And no, Cooper doesn't drink beer.)

He has gotten quite independent going upstairs to read in his room. When on his way up last night, I said, "be careful, Cooper", to which he responded, "You got it. I'm so careful."

At Target yesterday, on one of our ever too frequent trips there, Coop was actually sitting in the cart like a good boy. Rare, people. I thought I smelled something a little funked, so I asked him if he had poops. He stands up and says "Yes, Momma". Awesome. He then proceeds pull up his shirt and say, "See, Mom, I do have boobs." Umm, not what I asked, Coop, I said do you have poops? I was completely startled by the pointing at his bare chest and screaming at the top of his lungs that came next:

"MOM.I.SAID.I.DO.HAVE.BOOBS!"

  1. HAHA. That's hilarious that Cooper calls it Mamma juice because jasper says the SAME thing about wine! But he calls beer ol- beer in Swedish so at least no body knows what he is talking about when he says it..but I do find it Kind of sad that Jasper can say beer in multiple languages...

  6. oh my goodness. That's hilarious. Don't feel bad about the beer/wine stuff. Addy had a "tea party" the other day that consisted of wine and not tea.

  7. HILARIOUS! Don't you just love it when they embarrass you in public like that? Every time I went to the bathroom in a public place when Jeremiah was younger, he would yell "Mom, are you pooping?!?!" over and over.

  8. Mommy-juice. Hilarious! I had a co-worker once who's 2 year old walked up to him, slammed her sippy cup on the table and said "Put some beer in my sippy!"

  11. Hahahaha love it! Our 2 year old is always telling people her dad has boobs and a baby in his tummy like mommy. For the record, my husband is incredibly handsome but scrawny as all get out- I'm talking 5'10" and 160 lbs {maybe!} where do they get this stuff?!

  12. That's hilarious. We have Captain Morgan glasses that say "got a little Captain in ya?" Jolie is sounding out words & reading now. Of course she figured out what the glass says. Today at Target, she sees mire captain glasses and announces LOUDLY what they are.

  19. They say the funniest things! My daughter asked me to wrap a blanket around her like a dress. When I asked where she wanted it (around her neck or under her arms), she replied, "right here around my nickles...I'm taking the 5th on where she'd heard the word nipples!
