What went down in Vegas - Day 1

I think I'll just drag this trips post out cause sweet mercies, I miss it!

Thursday we got to our hotel, the Mandarin Oriental. Best hotel in Vegas, if you ask me. Its non-gaming, so its quiet, but its right next door to a great casino.

Getting ready to head to dinner.

Dinner was poolside with a live band and the clinical strength wasn't cutting it in the 100 degree weather. If ya know what I mean. Thank goodness the sun went down quick after we got there.

After some gambling lessons, we headed next door to City Center.

Where we made some money,

and some faces,
Then headed back waaaay past my bedtime.

Fast forward to this weekend...

We have some friends from California coming this weekend and I'm super excited! We have plans for wine tasting, DC sightseeing, and general troublemaking in the District.
